Help clear the remaining snow and ice from the playground?

If you can spare some time on Sunday afternoon – say between 2 and 3 o’clock – could you come along to the school and help clear the remaining snow and ice from the playground?
As the children haven’t been able to play outside this week, I know that many of us are desparate to get the kids outside to burn up some energy before they come home after their day at school!
I spoke to Mrs Dean about the possibility of parents clearing an area for the children to play in and she would be grateful if we could – I think PKC is unlikely to clear the area in the near future.
Hopefully it’ll stay warm today and tomorrow and there won’t be too much left to clear! Hope to see you there!

Parental Involvement: Geoff Johnson (GJ) referred to the Standards and Quality Report 2010 and there was a discussion regarding whether the school are meeting this standard.

Please help us clear snow form the school on Sunday from 2-3 pm
4 Dec‘m sure that we are all hoping that the school will open on Monday. Having had a walk around yesterday afternoon, it is evident that the janitor has made progress on clearing a path around the school and to the door. Unfortunately, the car park hasn’t been cleared, and neither Prieston Road nor the public car park over the footbridge have been dug out so parking is going to be a real problem for teachers.
So, can I suggest a snow clearing party at the school on Sunday from 2-3.
Bring a shovel and the kids and I’ll bring some mince pies. If we can get a few folk together, we should be able to make a real difference in an hour or so.
